Aluminium Coil Processing Solution

1650 Aluminium Coil Slitting Line with Double Slitter

The XIONGJIN 1650 Aluminium Coil Slitting Line is a double-slitter configuration for aluminium strip processing in the 0.2–4.0 mm class. It is engineered around the alloy, temper, coil dimensions, slit pattern and output target of each project.

With a second slitter-head position, the line can support efficient slit-pattern changeovers while maintaining a stable workflow. Entry handling, tension control and recoiling sections are selected for controlled coil build and aluminium surface protection.

All figures below are reference data from a representative configuration. XIONGJIN confirms the final processing scope, speed, strip count and auxiliary equipment after reviewing the customer’s material and production requirements.

Typical Line Configuration

  1. V-Type Coil Storage Station: stages incoming aluminium coils for orderly loading.
  2. Coil Loading Car: transfers the coil safely to the uncoiler centerline.
  3. Cantilever Uncoiler with Support Arm: supports controlled pay-off of the master coil.
  4. Five-Roll Entry Leveler, Pinch Rolls and Head-Crop Shear: prepares the coil head for stable threading.
  5. Entry Loop Bridge: provides a material reserve to decouple entry handling from slitting.
  6. Edge Guide and Hold-Down Unit: maintains strip alignment before the cutting section.
  7. Double Slitter Section: provides the active cutting head and a second head position for efficient slit-pattern changes.
  8. Scrap Edge Winder: winds trimmed edge scrap in a controlled manner.
  9. Exit Loop Bridge: helps stabilize material flow between slitting and recoiling.
  10. Pre-Separator and Tension Station: separates slit strips and controls strip tension before recoiling.
  11. Recoiler with Separator: builds tight, orderly finished slit coils.
  12. Support Arm and Discharge Car: assist finished-coil support and removal.
  13. Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems: power the line’s clamping, actuation and auxiliary functions.
  14. PLC/HMI Electrical Control System: centralizes line operation, monitoring and coordinated control.
