The XIONGJIN 1650 Thin-Gauge Slitting Line is a reference coil-processing configuration for converting cold-rolled steel and stainless-steel coil into accurately slit strip coils. It is designed around a quoted thickness range of 0.3–3.0 mm and a maximum coil width of 1650 mm. The line combines controlled payoff, entry guidance, rotary disc slitting, edge-trim collection, strip separation, tensioning and recoiling in one coordinated process.

For service centers and coil processors, the objective is not simply to divide a wide coil. Consistent strip width, controlled edge condition, stable strip tension and orderly recoiling all determine whether the finished coils can move efficiently to downstream stamping, roll forming, tube making or other production steps. Production Process

This sequence creates controlled material flow from the incoming master coil to finished slit coils. The front and rear loop sections help buffer the process, while the separator and tension table support orderly strip travel into the recoiler.

Major Equipment Sections

Hydraulic Coil Loading Car

The loading car transfers the master coil into the entry position for the decoiler. Its role is to support safe, repeatable coil handling and to align the coil for efficient loading into the line.

Hydraulic Decoiler and Pinch Roll

The hydraulic decoiler supports and pays off the coil. The entry pinch roll helps draw the strip forward in a controlled manner after the coil head has been prepared. Together with the peel table and straight-head arrangement, this section establishes stable entry conditions before slitting.

Side Guide and Rotary Disc Slitter

The side guide centers the strip before the slitter. The rotary disc slitter uses matched upper and lower knives with spacers to divide the parent coil into the required strip widths. Knife condition, clearance, overlap and setup accuracy have a direct effect on slit width, burr formation and edge quality.

Vertical Scrap Winder and Pressing Table

During slitting, edge trim is directed to the scrap winding system. The vertical scrap winder collects the trim in a controlled manner, while the pressing-table arrangement supports strip control through the downstream section. The exact scrap-handling arrangement is selected to suit trim width, material and production practice.

Strip Separator, Tension Table and Rear Shear

After the slit strips leave the slitter, the separator organizes them for recoiling. The tension table applies controlled resistance to help maintain coil build, while the rear shear and guide rolls support threading, strip control and orderly end-of-coil handling.

Recoiler and Unloading Section

The finished strips are rewound on the recoiler into individual slit coils. Recoiling performance depends on tension consistency, strip separation, coil support and the selected winding program. A hydraulic support and unloading trolley are included in the reference equipment sequence to support finished-coil removal.
